Four days to go for my final exam and here I am, trying to start a blog!
A month before my final exams, I realized what my subjects were in the semester! Waving its spooky head and casting its severe chills, soon were coming our exams! But nothing seemed to scare me this time. Probably because it was my seventh time! Or because I knew, no matter how prepared you are, engineering courses have something different to offer to you every time!
I have always enjoyed this preparation time. It’s a quiet relief after a 3 months long tiresome semester with seminars, assignments, excursions and not-to-mention lots of boring lectures. It’s a time we refresh ourselves and catch up with old friends and movies that escaped unwatched somehow! We chill wearing the exam time cap on our head and enjoy all the privileges that a studying lad would get!
Watching others studying is the first stimulus we get. We then gear up to start studying only to realize that we don’t even have the syllabus! A search wave then passes among everyone(who are also useless like me!). But there’s no shame left in us (because it’s our seventh time!).
Ten days left and we finally started studying. That’s when someone got us the movie ‘Twilight’. We were so overwhelmed watching Robert Pattison that we passed sleepless nights thinking about him! And then we realized that it was highest of the high time. Uncertain whether we are prepared or we have just given up or because it’s our seventh time.
The history repeats itself every time and everywhere. An engineering student has to go through all of these if one wants to be called as a real engineer! I was never like this before. But now I am one of them and it is so much fun this way. Getting all those goose bumps and yet certain that we would sail through!
Its our seventh time!
